The Irish tea is Thompson's Family teas Irish Breakfast Blend, and the bag says it's a product of Northern Ireland. My mom picked it up at a Big Lots and then discovered that she doesn't like black tea, so she gave it to me. I'm a fan of Barry's Irish blends because they're not weak (and I'm super picky about my tea being strong what with all the cream I put in it!), but I'm always on the lookout for good tea! :)Cordeliahttp://sincerelycordelia.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-21126934692617802452018-01-02T13:44:24.105-06:002018-01-02T13:44:24.105-06:00I'm so glad you enjoyed this, Shannon! I think it's so neat that you guys have a Jesse Tree-I think it's such a good reminder of the huge story of salvation history, and a good reminder to know the Old Testament (because let's be honest, sometimes it can be temping to stick to the New Testament stories because they can be less confusing or complicated!). I'm so glad you shared this. <br />Everyone who visits asks about our Jesse Tree (it doesn't look quite like a "normal" Christmas tree given the ornaments are unconventional). This would be such an awesome way to have some friends over and share the tradition with them!Shannon @ Of The Hearthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13211053395897432251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-83797693254618032422017-12-22T18:14:49.358-06:002017-12-22T18:14:49.358-06:00Aww, that sounds like such an awesome get-together...Aww, that sounds like such an awesome get-together with friends!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07894832851934334471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-86702967332253692882017-12-22T17:20:09.973-06:002017-12-22T17:20:09.973-06:00A Jesse tea! I've played it several times now with different groups of people, and everyone seems to enjoy it-it's very simple (my 8 year old Goddaughter was able to play it with a little bit of guidance on which cards to play) and a little bit silly. The basic flow is that on a person's turn, he or she draws an "event" card and then follows whatever the card saysAnneMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462442204217572325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-48581009231531713302017-12-18T18:09:03.749-06:002017-12-18T18:09:03.749-06:00This is just lovely.
