If we are ever gifted a box of the fancy stuff again, now we know we can just send it to your kids since my kids don't seem to eat it haha! (we've found that there is some flexibility with the cheeses-we often don't use the Romano and will used smoked gouda instead, or if we have a little less of one cheese will add in a little more of another, that kind of thing) AnneMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462442204217572325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-76897204446304487682021-10-15T16:43:42.493-05:002021-10-15T16:43:42.493-05:00I am all about simplicity and "family friendl...I am all about simplicity and "family friendly"-I will be checking out that 100 Days of Food for my meal planning, thank you for mentioning it!! And yes, I think marketing is huge; some of the foods that are marketed as "health-conscious" don't even seem THAT healthy to me. And yes, I absolutely agree about the moderation. One of my kiddos is very particular and will only eat the organic, aged cheddar mac-n-cheese that you microwave in a little tub. I like Velveeta mac n' cheese with shells. My husband likes the elbow variety better, or his mom's homemade mac n' cheese (which is admittedly amazing). We usually get the kids their Tiffany Bryant @ A New Evehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02564390958265861156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-10965457717669574032021-10-13T12:46:49.358-05:002021-10-13T12:46:49.358-05:00I agree this is an interesting topic!! I'm also more picky about it because of Gianna's diagnosis, but I tend to be simple in my philosophies rather than following a specific, trendy diet. (I love 100 Days of Real Food cookbook...very normal and family friendly and includes Laura @ Life Is Beautifulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11217783333084830679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-66518668448691028122021-10-12T20:07:14.349-05:002021-10-12T20:07:14.349-05:00What an interesting topic! But I am definitely gonna try out that 6 cheese recipe! I find in this day and age, it is all too easy to project a certain image, do things to impress others without stopping to think of the real reasoning behind it. It's harder to do things from a place of Elisabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06878630481073847284noreply@blogger.com
