She wasn't responsible for the issue we were discussing, but it was still difficult not to take my frustrations out on someone. Sigh. I have so much growing to do! <br />It's amazing how we'll speak out on behalf of the unborn, the infirm, or the elderly, but weShannon @ Of The Hearthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13211053395897432251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-35048519548354832922016-11-17T09:13:52.945-06:002016-11-17T09:13:52.945-06:00That's so neat-I'm sure your siblings and ...That's so neat-I'm sure your siblings and Angel have plenty of interesting stories from those jobs. I never worked retail, but I did use to work as a "register girl" in a couple of restaurants. You're right-it is all hard work! Angel worked at Subway and Target when he was in high school. It makes me sad that some parts of society consider these jobs "shameful" to some extent--they are hard work even if they aren't high-paying. Real, interesting people have those jobs and I'm grateful for allRachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07894832851934334471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2758330335100037759.post-13132998900717220082016-11-16T10:51:21.148-06:002016-11-16T10:51:21.148-06:00Wow, Ann-Marie, that is amazing! I'm not perfect with it either-food "emergencies" will happen and that kind of thing, and it's always trickier when travelling. One day late after school, I saw him speaking French (fluently, beautifully) with the French teacher. He was getting his degree in Mechanical Engineering and working at our school. Blew me away. He was the nicest man.
