About Me

Hi there! My name is AnneMarie, and I am glad that you found my corner of the internet.

A lifelong Catholic, lover of the Liturgy, and a casual geek, I greatly enjoy pondering the intersection of Faith and fandoms, and I seek to explore the quirky ways in which God speaks to us each day.

When I'm not reading picture books with my young children, I can often be found chatting about board games with my husband, meandering barefoot in the grass, curled up with a good book, or sipping black coffee as I write.

A graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, I am a freelance writer whose work has been featured in devotional magazine The Secret Place (Judson Press), mini-magazine Take Out: Family Faith on the Go (Our Sunday Visitor), and online women’s magazine Verily. Since 2016, I have been a  monthly contributor to CatholicMom.com, where I write about Faith, parenting, and the liturgical year. I have been a guest multiple times on Catholic radio (often while hiding in the closet while my kids bang on the door), and I love sharing my passion for God with others.

I love to write on this blog, but I really love to build community and have conversations with other people.

Do you have any thoughts, questions, or comments about something I've written?
Are there any topics that you want me to blog about or products you wish me to review?
Are there any speaking or writing opportunities that you want to discuss with me?
Do you have any burning questions about the Catholic faith?

Drop me a note, and let's chat about whatever is on your mind.

You may reach me by e-mail at: annemariemiller00 AT gmail DOT com

Thank you for joining me on this great adventure!

    1. Thanks for the question! Years ago, some of my friends started getting on the blogging kick as a way to share bits of their life and reflections with others. I thought I may start eventually, because it seemed like a cool concept. When I actually started this blog, it was at the prompting of the Holy Spirit, and I was pretty much a blank slate-I had no idea what direction God wanted to take things! Over time, I've found that the purpose behind this blog really is to share a bit of my unique experiences and reflections on living as a Catholic in today's world, and to find joy and truth in the little moments that God sends my way.
